“The Conversation Every Spiritual Woman Needs” with Nina Niehues
Watch now on Youtube
Some conversations you plan. And some just flow for 90 minutes and you forget the camera is even there. This is one of those.
I recently sat down with my good friend Nina for an honest, unfiltered conversation about the spiritual path. Here’s what we talked about:
How Nina's spiritual journey began with yoga in Brazil at 17 — where yoga is rooted far more in spirituality than physical practice
The first phase of spirituality — when it becomes your whole identity, and why that's actually a normal part of the path
Nina's first plant medicine ceremony experience and how it blasted her open, sending her on a five-year search for truth and healing
Spiritual bypassing — what it actually is and how it quietly shows up even in the most self-aware people
What a feminine embodiment coach actually does, and the women who seek out this kind of work
Two simple at-home practices Nina demonstrates to release stored tension in the jaw and pelvis — no equipment needed
Why so many modern women carry tension in these areas and what it's connected to
Spiritual concepts and teachings from sacred feminine and tantra communities that we've both quietly outgrown
The divine feminine and our four seasons — understanding our cyclical nature as women
Sexuality, self-worth, and what it means to return to your body as a woman

About Nina Niehues
Nina Niehues is a Holistic Intimacy Coach, feminine embodiment guide, and space holder for women who are ready to reclaim their sensual aliveness.
Her work was born from lived experience. Growing up deeply disconnected from her body — shaped by early trauma, instability, and loss — Nina spent years navigating shame, dissociation, and the belief that something in her was fundamentally wrong. Through yoga, theatre, tantra, and a lifelong journey of remembering, she slowly returned home to herself — to her breath, her body, and to the sacredness of being a woman.
Along the way she studied in India, guided women through retreats and circles across Asia and Brazil, and trained in holistic sexual therapy, Tao tantra, natural gynecology, and trauma-informed somatic practices.
Today Nina works 1:1 with women from all over the world — women who want to feel more, love deeper, and live in full-bodied yes to life. Her work may include tantra and Taoist practices, yoni egg rituals, breathwork, pelvic floor activation, pleasure mapping, and emotional healing — all offered at your pace, in full consent and safety.
A Note from Casey
I've known Nina for a while now and what I love most about her is that she embodies everything she teaches. She's not performing wellness, she's living it, with all the messiness and beauty that comes with that.
This conversation touched on things I rarely get to talk about publicly — the shadow side of spiritual communities, the concepts we've both moved past, and what it actually means to be a woman coming home to her body.
If you've been on a spiritual or healing path for a while and something has been quietly shifting in you, I think you’ll reeaally enjoy this episode xo
